Astute visitors will notice I’ve been dormant for 11 months. I could list the reasons, but they are boring and common and probably familiar to anyone here.

Instead I’d like to report that I think I fixed my ActivePub plugin, so consider this a test missive to the Fediverse.

Also, I had a stray thought today worth sharing:

Maybe it’s because I’m watching the new Fallout series, but today I imagined an elderly radio host in some apocalyptic setting. He hosts the weekly broadcast “Wishin’ fer Nutrition” wherein he reminisces about food he used to enjoy, richly describing it for his eager audience.

So I’m back. I look forward to crowding your feeds a little for a spell.
